The Cancer of Crony Capitalism – 7/17

by | Jun 18, 2014 | Past Events

Cronyism has significantly grown in the past century and society is becoming more aware and inquisitive of the difference between legality and dishonest practices. This session led by CCAZ Board Member, Tony Polusny, will help define cronyism with examples of programs and market sectors heavily invested in this practice. He’ll also discuss sectors participating in government driven capitalism in an honest and transparent way.

Utilizing recent publications, videos and studies from The Economist, author Peter Schweizer, and the Crony-capitalist Index; Tony hopes to raise your blood pressure a little and then show how there is hope and action each of us can contribute on a daily basis to further the cause and education of free market capitalism.

This program will be an interactive presentation with small group discussions and will take place on July 17th from 12:00 – 1:00 PM @ MAC6 – 1430 W. Broadway, Suite 201, Tempe, AZ 85282.

The cost of the event is $25, or FREE for all paid Practicing and Ambassador Members of CCAZ. (If you are a Practicing or Ambassador Member you will receive an email with a promo code providing a $25 discount) If you have not yet joined you can do so during the event and we’ll credit your payment toward your annual membership fee ($75 for a Practicing Member of Conscious Capitalism).
